Loxa Protection covers your electronics against accidental damage and faults that are not typically covered by a manufacturer’s warranty. This includes events such as drops, liquid damage, overheating or other sudden, unexpected damage.

It also provides continued protection against mechanical or electrical breakdown after the manufacturer’s warranty has expired. If your device is damaged by an insured event, you may be eligible for repair or replacement, so you are not left out of pocket.

For select items like laptops and tablets, Loxa Protection covers theft as well.

Loxa is Peter Tyson’s protection plan partner. Loxa specialises in product protection and extended warranty solutions, managing policy administration and claims handling end to end through its specialist claims and repair network.

Depending on the electronic item and the plan selected, Loxa Protection may cover:

• Accidental damage such as liquid spills, heat or impact damage
• Mechanical or electrical breakdown not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty
• Theft for items such as laptops and tablets

Repairs may be carried out at your premises, via collection and return, or through a specialist repair centre, depending on the product. If the cost of repair exceeds the replacement value, the item may be replaced. If replacement is not possible, a voucher or store credit may be offered in line with the policy terms.

Loxa Protection does not cover cosmetic-only damage, normal wear and tear, or issues already covered by your manufacturer warranty. For full details, please refer to your Product Protection Policy Wording and IPID document.

You can add Loxa Protection on the product page when viewing an eligible item. Protection must be purchased for each item individually, including multiple quantities of the same model.

Your cover starts from the date shown on your protection plan certificate. The cover duration is confirmed in your policy schedule issued after purchase.

Damage in transit or delivery issues are handled by Peter Tyson under the delivery and returns process, not under the protection plan.

You can cancel your protection within the first 30 days for a full refund if no claim has been made. To cancel or update your details, use the Loxa customer portal link provided in your confirmation email or follow the instructions in your policy documents.

If you return your item within Peter Tyson’s return window, you can also request cancellation and refund of the protection plan, subject to the policy terms.
